I've joined Leo on The Screen Savers, Call For Help, The Daily Giz Wiz, and the Lab with Leo -- and for a while I joined him (in a very small way) on his syndicated radio show "Tech Guy Labs". It's syndicated throughout the US and is heard on XM radio too. But late in 2008, with the Daily Giz Wiz shows getting longer and longer, we decided to drop the Giz Wiz spots that were on Tech Guy labs. Basically they were just us re-recording chatter about gadgets we had just done on the Daily Giz Wiz Netcast. But Leo continues to do Tech Guy Labs by himself and somehow remains successful without me!

From Energizer, The DUO Charger.
This is pretty clever. Put it in your pocket, throw it in camera or computer bag and you have a mini, very useful charger for AA and AAA NiMH batteries. I’m not quite sure why, but it’s available in green, red, or blue. And this I like, although you don’t really need it, you can download a neat little program from Energizer's website that let’s you track the charger's progress right on your computer screen. It knows what the charger is doing because it’s drawing the power from one of the USB ports. You’ll see a picture representing the batteries in the device and a count down timer that counts down to the time they’re fully charged. The DUO charger retails for $13.99 (but I’ve already seen it for under $12. In the package is the charger, an AC to USB adapter, which you can use to charge other USB devices and two Energizer AAA 900 NiMH batteries. I think someone at Amazon didn’t check the USB Duo Charger copy after they cut pasted it.
